Jennifer Smetana

Vice President, Strategic Operations

Jennifer Smetana is Vice President of Strategic Operations at Lion, where she leads enterprise technology adoption and process standardization across the organization. In previous endeavors, she directed a portfolio-wide rollout of Yardi's CRM IQ and Chat IQ across 65,000 units, built a company's first standardized SOP manual, and expanded the use of project management technology across asset management, field operations, accounting, HR, and IT.

Jennifer brings two decades of multifamily experience spanning across operations, leasing, training, and application strategy. Prior to Lion, she spent time at LIVCOR, where she automated manual business processes to increase team productivity by 25% and served as Dean of the RISE Leadership Program. Before that, at IRT Management, she built training programs supporting more than 400 employees across a portfolio of 16,000 units.

Jennifer holds a B.S. in Marketing and Residential Property Management from Ball State University and lives in Nashville, Tennessee.
