David Martin

Chief Financial Officer

David Martin joined Lion Real Estate Group in 2026 as Chief Financial Officer, bringing more than two decades of experience in real estate finance, accounting, capital markets, and corporate operations. In his role, he continues to scale the firm’s financial infrastructure in support of its ongoing expansion. David oversees Lion’s finance, accounting, reporting, insurance, lender relationships, and financial operations functions. He works closely with the leadership team across capital markets, acquisitions, asset management, and operations, with a focus on enhancing portfolio performance and supporting strategic growth initiatives.

Prior to joining Lion, David served as Chief Financial Officer of Omninet Capital, where he oversaw the finance and accounting functions for a diversified real estate portfolio that included multifamily and commercial assets. During his tenure, David helped manage a portfolio of more than 10,000 multifamily units and over 10 million square feet of commercial real estate while leading capital markets efforts involving more than $2.0 billion of debt financings.
Before Omninet, David served as Vice President at AVP Advisors and spent seven years at Ernst & Young, where he focused on real estate audit and advisory matters.

David is a Certified Public Accountant in California and earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and his M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
